Cardinham woods opening

Today was the opening of Cardinham Woods Mountain Bike trails in Cornwall, they announced the opening of part of the Blue trail and this had a great response. I arrived early (I wasn’t sure how long it would take me to get there) and cars were already in the car park with bikes all around and more kept on arriving.

It was great to see that people were so excited for this new centre to open and eager to get out and try the new trail from 10 year olds (I think) up to more senior, people who haven’t been out on the bike for a while to people who are obviously well seasoned.

I did a few laps before stopping for a coffee and a chat with people who had nothing but good words to say (including great praise for the food) and excitement for the rest of the trails to open.

I did one last lap after my coffee before heading home with a smile on my face knowing that this will be a fantastic place for all ability of riders and will get people back out on their bikes.

Everyone involved in this project should feel extremely proud of what is already in place with only better things to come, THANK YOU.

Watch out for more to come!
